Sole Plus, this year's winner belonging to the Garner Circle Creative Closet initiative, has teamed up with Converse and Scion offer ART+SOLE+LIFE (A+S+L), to debut October 22, 2010. The exhibit is sneaker art by having a conscience, made to highlight the nonprofit work of SOLE PLUS. The displays feature artists telling the stories on their everyday lives using shoes as his or her canvas. A+S+L often is the fusion of shoe design, art, activism, philanthropy, rolled into a oneofakind interactive exhibit that visually and emotionally takes each guest because of the footsteps of sole expression. The A+S+L exhibition will launch at Ambient Plus Studios from 8:00pm Midnight.
Just one Plus initiative began in October of 2009, and it has allowed hundreds of young people to employ their artistic views for connecting with those in need. Sole Plus is a 501 c3, nonprofit organization that had been founded relating to the quote by Pablo Picasso, "Art washes out of your <sole> the dust every day life."
